Children's Ministry

We believe that children are precious to God and deserve our best effort in order:

-To present Jesus as our children’s Savior

-To prepare our children to live godly lives in the culture they are facing and will face

-To prepare our children to serve God with the purpose for which He made them

Vacation Bible School is coming THIS WEEK (16-20th)! Invite children to come. Ages are entering Kindergarten through entering 5th grade. The following food items are needed: M&Ms, raisins, graham crackers, cereal bars, drink boxes, and small cups of fruit cocktail. Place your items in the box in the foyer. Also, Cindy can use volunteers in different areas.

SPORTREACH—Mark your calendars for sports camp which will be held July 7-11. Perhaps you know of a young person, maybe a neighbor, whom you could sponsor. Be in prayer for the program and how you might make a difference in some young person's life. We will have a booth at Memorial Park on the 4th to advertise the camp. Our young people are especially encouraged to help Kelly with sport events that Friday as well as throughout camp the following week.

Children's Choir

The children will sing during worship service next Sunday (May 4). There will be a rehearsal at the church May 3rd at 4:00 PM. In preparation for this, please help us teach your children to recite the Books of the Old Testament.

Children's Ministry Planning Brunch

On May 3rd all AWANA workers, Children Sunday School Teachers, Youth Workers, Parents, and other interested volunteers are invited to brunch at 10:00 am for a Children's Ministry Planning Meeting. Contact Suzanne for more information.
